And it is not a harmful procedure. With Ullie I did a dna-test recently if she was carrying the point-gene, not wanted in a Turkish Angora. It was not more than sweeping two little brushes in her mouth and sending them off to the laboratory.

I do not know if it is about a blue-point gene. I think it is about a color-point gene in general. And it is a Australian company that does it, http://www.animalsdna.com/ . They will send swaps and a form which you can fill out. They will charge it on a creditcard and only charge when you send the samples in. It was not very expensive, about € 19 and fairly fast.

I did read that the test is not 100% sure yet...... 4 markers are found and there can be more markers for longhair..

But I'm very positive!
