Hi there,

after some problems with registering an logging in (shame on me & many thanks to Anke) at least I´m "in" now, too.

My name is Damijan and I´m living with my family in Mannheim/Germany.

We´re owners of three cats, one is a 15yr old boy, Igor, something like a norwegian forest cat. He was found by my parents in Slovenia and they brought him to us. A very kind and nice cat.

After we lost Luna last year, we wanted to get again a second cat and started searching for a cat with longer hair, maybe sth like Igor. So, one day my wife asked me: "Do you know Nebelung?"
I: "Wtf is Nebelung" (sorry ;-))
She: "Doesn´t matter, you want one, I´m sure!" Well, SHE wanted one
And she was right! So last year we got our Beowulf from the cattery "von den Nebelgeistern"; now we call him Atilla.

Well, this cat isn´t much like a cat. He´s like a spheric being, and somtimes like a dog, or better, like a puppy. He´s very patient with our kids, especially with our youngest boy, who is only one year older than Atilla. These two have a very special relationship, and the cat´s name was one of the first words, our son could say.

Now, for nearly three weeks, we´ve got another Nebelung cat called Milana from Ladoga´s (Valentina, if You read this, she´s still a little bit shy, but Atilla and she are already good friends). She will need some more time, but I´m sure, our kids will manage it and she will become also a member of our (growing) family ;-)

I´m glad to become a member of this forum about this vey special breed and I hope, that there will be much more fans of them in the future.

P.S. With imageshack you can also choose to show a photo bigger (a not thumbnail). That is easier to look at.

@Anke:
yes, it´s the same cat. Tina did some silly mistakes and used some photos for wich she didn´t had the copyright. Personally I think, that she just forgot asking after she created the (in my opinion really nice) site. And this was not ok, she should have known it, so the site is actually down for some days. I don´t know, if it´s going on again, but I hope so, because it´s very interesting, if you havent had kitten so far.
