Hi everybody,

Just a quick introduction from our side. We are Maartje, Yasmin and Els and we are the founders of the Russian Blue Foundation in Holland.
This foundation has the best interest of the Nebelung at heart. To put it simply, we want to insure a healthy future for the Russian, its colors and the Nebelung. We promote these breeds (though not with the aim of getting them "into fashion"), provide information on various aspects of these breeds in various ways (via our magazine, a booklet, stands at catshows, our website or even by phone or email) and promote responsible and healthy breeding practises. We are building funds (through sales from our webshop, donations etc.) to found research on health issues that may arise at any given time and have a DNA-database with Genetic Counseling services to accomodate this research with actual DNA material.
To represent the Nebelung as good as we can, we wouldn't just like to stay in touch with the local breeders, but also be aware of what is happening within the breed as a whole as good as we can.
We hope all of you can appreciate us joining here, even though none of us own Nebelungs ourselves (yet!)

Laurence, do you mean the Mundikat Easter show? Yasmin was there. If you were in the vicinity of the blue breeds, you probably couldn't have missed her. I was supposed to be there, but in the end only my cats could go.
Hope you got a good impression from that - obviously we were not allowed to openly represent anything other than the Russian Blue

Yes the Munkikat Easter show! So I talked to Yasmin then, and I was talking about Nebelung of course hihi. She showed me a little leaflet on them. And she also pointed me to an English type RB as I was wondering what were the differences.
