Janna and Nanno

Hi everyone!

Let me you my story... I'm Janna, proud owner of Nanno, an "almost-"Blue Russian. He misses a pedigree and has a white mark on his toe too many, but apart from that, he's 100% Russian, if you ask me. He's born on the first of April 2007 and lived with us since the 24th of june.
Nanno's a great, intelligent, tender, loving and active cat. Like he should be. But since a while, I think it would be best to give him a catfriend.

For as long as I can remember, I've been a Number One Russian Fan. About one year ago, my dream came true, although he's not pure. But since a couple of months I developed a new dream. At the Mundikat "Blue Special" Show in Arnhem, my boyfriend fell in love with a Blue Maine Coon.
When we got back home, I showed him more pictures of Coons, but he wasn't convinced. Me personally, I've always been fond of blue cats as you can imagine, but I don't like the facial lines of the Coons so much. So we looked further, and then we stumbled upon my second love: the Nebelung. What a perfect combination: great character and even better looks, all in one breed! Smile

My boyfriend just couldn't disagree with me. But that didn't mean that we were going on this Nebelung-quest.

After weeks of begging - I had to give in into my boyfriends dream, he really wants a fast motorcycle, you see? But - I've accomplished my goal, so it was worth it!

So here I am now... looking for some great cat&Nebelung-loving people. I hope this forum will be the key to my future sweetheart.

I see nothing wrong in your boyfriend wanting a motorcycle Laughing

, you can tell him that Bagster does a special pet bag to put on the tank in front, hihi I ride a bike too and so do my cats Very Happy

You both got your dream in the end, that's good ! Smile

Ahhh I love solid blue MC too! We might have seen each other at the Mundikat show as I was there too Smile

Thank you Laurence! I already feel most welcome here. It seems like a very nice place on the www.
I think Bas told me about you. If this is you, I guess you're waiting for your Nebelung kitten, right? We must have seen each other in Arheim indeed. The solid blue MC there was absolutely gorgeous. His name was Big Giant’s Deep Purple if I'm not mistaking. But, I can't help but love the subtileness of the Nebelung better.

About the bike... I've had a really bad experience with someone. That's why I wasn't too keen on the idea. But my boyfriend's promised to be careful... As I'm typing this, he's off to a big bikeshop. He's really interested in vintage bikes, like Vespas en some Triumph models. Those last ones cost a little bit too much, so he's headed to buy an old Vespa.
Aren't your cats afraid of the noise when they ride along? I think Nanno would hate it... When it comes to loud noises, he's nowhere to be seen Rolling Eyes

Pictures of Nanno won't be a problem, since I'm used to make them almost every day. I'll start a topic for him. Let me know if you like the photographs Wink

after 1 year of patience, my little Nebelung friend was born 3 weeks ago bounce

No probs with the noise of my bike or my scooter with my cats. They are just used to it. But then I do not have a very loud exhaust pipe and we never do long distances.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures of Nanno Very Happy
