Nimbati´s first ones...

Hi @ all,

I´m so glad to tell you about our first litter. Milana gave birth to five kitten, two boys and three girls. We´re not sure, if they were all or if Musli (Ladoga´s Milana) just has to rest some minutes, untill now she did a really good job.
The weight of the kittens is between 102 and 117g.

the kittens are growing now all, some very fast, some a little bit slower, but they do grow and get heavier and louder :-)
Yesterday we moved the Family out of the sideboard into the litterbox and I hope, I´ll be able to make now some better photos.

Of course, even our kids are very fascinated of mama and kitten and they count the day, when the kitten will open their eyes and begin to explore their environment.

Can imagine the joy of your famely with the kittens.

I also always had a special box for giving birth..... but mothers are always having their own thoughts about the best spot to give birth. Kittens have been born on the couch and Pegusha choose to give birth at 4.00 in the morning next to me in bed, on my pillow ..... but some were born were I wanted..... yes I have been succesful too.

I'm looking forward to photos! and do take it easy..... using flash is not always wanted by mother and kittens.

What a lovely photos!!! I was looking forward to see new photos of your kittens.

This photo is very special.... The kitten looks almost like an unique type of childs doll. Like a baby doll which needs to be feeded etc. and asks for it. (with it's little serieus face)

Got to say, I have been looking to that one photo many times now. The way the mouth is open and the tonque folded like kittens do to drink. It is very special.

Well, the last one was a real snapshot made with the poor lense of an iphone. The sun was deep, the kitty was hissing and the moment was just the right one. But absolutely not to compare with the great photos you shoot, Anke.
