Pawpeds, a good information source.

There are things about Pawpeds I really love......I love the photo section. But it is not filled well yet.....
But would not it be great to have photos in combination with the pedigree of all our cats in the database??? When we or our cats are "retired" new breeders still can learn about the looks of the ancestors.

Dear all,

I would like to remind all nebelung breeders to go to the pawpeds database and see if all your cats are in the database. If not please sent me the pedigrees.

There are some new features comming up. you have to log in into to the database and then you can see wich update I did and what I changed. Als you can push a double mark button, meaning that cat names double in the pedigree will be highlighed. I good feature I think!

It is very time consuming to add photo's. The easiest way for me is, that you sent a link the same you need to add her to insert a photo. Also sent me the photo, that I can put it in my own database. There is now size limitation.

At this moment I do this in excel and let this program search for me. The new feature will make live much more easy!!!

I'll make an special album with photos of my cat for you.

the login is just for mods or for normal users, too? Where can I apply? There´s only the login-button but I can´t find the button to create an account. Or, maybe I´m blind, liko do often...

This feature is available for all users. The database itself will stay for free, but there will be additional features like I mentioned. These new features are still in the test phase, so you have to wait until it is online. When it is, I will update you.

As you may have noticed there are already two new links: recent additions and recent updates.

I also would like to remind you all to check pawpeds if your cats/kittens are in the database. I notice that kittens are born, but I don't receive the pedigrees.

I started this database for you all to see what is going on in nebelung breeding. How often is a stud used, how many kittens are born, where do the kittens live?

I also see pedigrees that the parents are unknown at that particular cat club, as a breeder is still in the starting phase. Such cat club will put unknown in the pedigree. Unecessary as I have many pedigrees and background information. So please if your a starting breeder, and you don't know the parents of the 3th of 4th generation on your pedigree, please give me a call or mail me. You can take a look in the database and if there is a cats name in there, you know I have information.

Ok, I got the pedigree for Maroon. Who should I send it to?

I sent the scan of it to Sereb Haze (on pm). However I still can't see it on Paw Peds.

I sent the pedigree to Kristen from the forum as private message. After few days I checked it it still in the outbox. So I sent it again.

I also sent to Pawpeds email address with Kirsten's name and her cattery in subject...
