Bernard has been telling me more often about the experiences breeders in France had with a certain brand of catfood. They noticed that their kittens grew les when they got this brand of food. He did also sent me an form of a association who’s concern is quality of cat food. I have to admit I always thought that the “expensive brands” would be healthy for my cats. This leaflet questions that assumption.

The mycotoxins finished by being evoked by several indisputable scientists; the answer of the “large manufacturers of fart food” was successively:

- to deny the problem: there are no mycotoxins in their products;

- to recognize the presence of mycotoxins in their products, but to reject the total responsibility for it on the retailers and especially on the inefficient stockbreeders: the products manufactured were completely free from mycotoxins and those which were found in the products were then due to mushrooms developing in the wholesalers and the stockbreeders because of bad conditions of storage;

- the proof while having been brought, the manufacturers ended up admitting the presence of mycotoxins known as “of field” due to mushrooms developing only on the alive plant in the field, such Zéaralénone whose dramatic consequences are well-known at the animal species of report/ratio (with meat or milk);

- the “large manufacturers of fart food " then declared that the amounts of this type of poison were tiny;

- in front of the figures announced then by various sources, these “large manufacturers of fart food " then indicated that:

- there are no standards concerning the maximum rates authorized for the dogs and cats, therefore that nobody had reason to complain,

- there is not any study making it possible to know which amounts these products could be dangerous for the cats and the dogs which would be thus infinitely more resistant than all other species of mammals: pig, sheep, ox and even man…

Lastly, when information appears, indicating that a product - two actually - is free from these poisons, “one” organizes a misinformation campaign claiming the opposite; all the means are good…

All that is perfectly public and verifiable: it is enough to visit adequate Internet sites or to be made communicate the mails of the manufacturers to the “authorities” which questioned them on the question, like the European Commission or some deputies, nationals or Europeans.

Obviously, it is impossible for the moment to write the name of only one of these “large manufacturers of fart food ": after having shown - including publicly on the Internet - certain stockbreeders or laboratories to have adulterated the results, they clearly let know that any assertion with regard to them would be continued…

It seems that it is today time to defend us.

Certain administrations or authorities seem to include/understand the problem and the need scientifically for approaching it and out of any passion behavior; members of the European Commission or the European Parliament clearly expressed their conviction in this direction - for the moment in private mails which I cannot reproduce.

It would be contrary illusory awaiting the least interest on this point on behalf of our ministry for Agriculture.

It would be quite as illusory to await the least effective step of the cat-like world.

CREATION Of an ASSOCIATION
It is time to act: légalement, sereinement, scientifiquement, mais fermement.

Il faut que les "grands fabricants de pet food" aient face à eux un organe puissant représentant les éleveurs.

Il faut que les instances européennes aient conscience que le monde de l'élevage félin (voire canin) est uni dans cette démarche.

Il faut enfin et surtout que les éleveurs puissent financer des actions efficaces ce qui implique de travailler avec des laboratoires d'analyse incontestables, avec des démarches contrôlées juridiquement (huissiers de justice) à chaque étape et, bien évidemment, avec l'aide d'avocats.

Les moyens financiers existeront si de nombreux éleveurs apportent leur modeste obole qui sera sans commune mesure avec les coûts vétérinaires liés à tous ces poisons que l'on déverse dans les gamelles de nos animaux.

Le seul moyen efficace est donc la création d'une association, ce qui vient d'être fait.

De gezondheidsrisico's in verband met de kwaliteit van het industriële voedsel voor dieren van maatschappij zijn het onderwerp aan de manier geworden. Men spreekt erover veel een beetje overal; veel circuleert valse informatie…

Maar er blijft niet minder dan:

gevaarlijke producten en zelfs dodelijk op de markt door de grote fabrikanten van „pet werden gezet food ": de voedingsmiddelen aan de melamine „worden verrijkt“ die hebben gedood aantal katten en honden in de USA, in Canada, in Zuid-Afrika; de fabrikanten houden zich natuurlijk achter de verantwoordelijkheid van in verklaren de Chinese verkopers zich van grondstof (gluten van tarwe) en volledig onschuldig in de zaak; rekening houdend met de omvang van de ramp, de verschillende autoriteiten hebben geïmpliceerd zich door met FDA te beginnen (Food and Drug Bestuur) Amerikaans, hetgeen zou moeten leiden tot het sancties;
andere producten net zo gevaarlijk en dodelijk hebben gecirculeerd en gecirculeerd: surdosages in vitamines, aanwezigheid van cyanure, enz

De myotoxine heeft per wezen vermeld door verschillende onbetwistbare wetenschappers geëindigdn; het antwoord van „de grote fabrikanten van pet is food“ achtereenvolgens geweest:

- om het probleem te ontkennen: er is geen myotoxine in hun producten;

- om de aanwezigheid van myotoxine in hun producten te erkennen, maar om de totale verantwoordelijkheid ervan op de kleinhandelaars en vooral op de onbekwaame veehouders te verwerpen: de vervaardigde producten waren volkomen vrij van myotoxine en degenen die in de producten werden gevonden waren dan te wijten aan paddestoelen die zich bij de groothandelaars en de veehouders door slechte voorwaarden voor opslag ontwikkelen;

- is het gebrachte bewijs in , zijn de fabrikanten de aanwezigheid van te wijten zogenaamde myotoxine „van veld“ toestemmen aan paddestoelen begonnen die zich alleen op de levende plant in het veld ontwikkelen, dergelijk Zéaralénone waarvan de dramatische gevolgen worden goed bij de diersoorten van verslag gekend (aan vlees of melk);

- „de grote fabrikanten van pet hebben food " dan verklaard dat de dosissen van dit soort gif miniem waren;

- voor de cijfers die vervolgens door verschillende bronnen worden aangekondigd, hebben deze „grote fabrikanten van pet food " dan medegedeeld dat:

- er zijn geen normen betreffende de maximumkoersen toegelaten voor de honden en katten, derhalve dat niemand reden had om zich te beklagen,

- er bestaat geen enkele studie die het mogelijk maakt om te weten aan welke dosissen deze producten gevaarlijk zouden kunnen zijn voor de katten en de honden die aldus oneindig sterker zouden zijn slechts elk andere soorten van zoogdieren: varken, schaap, rundvlees en dezelfde man…

Uiteindelijk wanneer een informatie lijkt, die dat een product - twee in werkelijkheid - vrij van deze giffen is aangeeft, „men“ organiseert een campagne van desinformatie die het tegendeel beweert; alle middelen zijn goed…

Dat alles is volledig openbaar en controleerbaar: het voldoet om de adequate websites te bezoeken of om zich de post van de fabrikanten te laten meedelen aan „de autoriteiten“ die ze hebben ondervraagd in deze kwestie, als de Europese Commissie of enkele afgevaardigden, nationaal of Europees.

Natuurlijk is het momenteel onmogelijk om de naam van slechts één van deze „grote fabrikanten van pet te schrijven food ": na - met inbegrip van publiekelijk op Internet - bepaalde veehouders of laboratoria beschuldigd te hebben om met de resultaten geknoeid te hebben, hebben zij duidelijk medegedeeld dat elke bewering die ze betreft, … zou voortgezet zijn

Het ziet ernaar uit dat het vandaag tijd is om ons te verdedigen.

Bepaalde besturen of autoriteiten schijnen het probleem en de noodzaak te omvatten om het te behandelen wetenschappelijk en buiten elk passionnel gedrag; leden van de Europese Commissie of het Europees Parlement hebben duidelijk hun overtuiging in deze richting - momenteel in een particuliere post uitgesproken die ik kan voortbrengen.

Het zou integendeel bedrieglijk zijn op het mindere belang op dit punt van ons ministerie van de Landbouw te wachten.

Het zou net zo bedrieglijk zijn op de mindere efficiënte methode van de katachtige wereld te wachten.

OPRICHTING VAN een VERENIGING
Het is tijd om te handelen: légalement, sereinement, scientifiquement, mais fermement.
