Hi there,

I'm new to this forum . I own a neblung called Eleonora van 't Wolvennest alias Noa. Next to her I own 2 russian blue cats called Ivan & Ryska van Kzyl Orda. I also have some main coons, but my heart lies with the russian blue and the nebelung .

Noa was a birtdaypresent to myself. I bougt her from Annie who lives near Brussel. When I saw she had kittens I contacted her and that's how Noa came to stay with me. Since the nebelung is a particular rare breed I wanted to do shows with Noa. The first show I did with her she was a kitten of 7 months old. We did the show in Nijmege since there was a special there. Noa got her first BIV there. I was very proud of her. In april of this year she got her last CAC-point and her breeder Annie was there too. Noa also got a BIS there and Annie got the BIV. But then again when I saw the beautiful nebelungs she brought with her I didn't think she would do so well. But you better believe we both had a little party there!

Currently we are trying to get Noa her CACIB and now we're only one point short so hopefully Noa will get her second title this year. I plan to go to Wassenaar because there''ll be a special. And maybe we can all meet there!

No Dagmar is not the father of Noa. Parents are Cachmir and Dahlia van 't Wolvennest. But Dagmar is beautiful too! My avatar is a picture of Noa from last year september when we returned from the show in Nijmegen.

Great to hear that you plan to go to the show in Wassenaar too. It will be a marvelous show with many Nebelung. I'm looking forward to see you. But in the meantime I'm hoping for more photos of Noa.

Thank you all for making me feel welcome here. I already met some of you at show like William for instance. His nebelung is beautiful! But our nebelung never had the pleasure of competing against eachother since last year september in Nijmegen. Hopefully Wassenaar will bring a lot of nebelung and there can be a fair competition. Does anybody know who is judging the nebelung in Wassenaar?

Thank you for the compliments about our Nebelung Rasjah. Because Rasjah does not like to go to Cat shows we have decided to leave her at home. Perhaps after she has had her first litter we will try it once more.

Today we were as visitors in Dordrecht, there were 3 Nebelung, and i believe 3 Russian Bleu cats, i do not know the results about these cats.

Do you go to Rotterdam on the 19th?

Sorry te hear that Rasjah isn't going to shows anymore but then again the welbeing of your cat comes first! I have already registered for the show in Ahoy so both Noa and I wille be there. Do you know if there wille be other nebelung there and will you be there as well?

Yes we will be there with 2 Somali's. I do not know or there will be more Nebelung.
Perhaps anyone of this forum will be there?

So we will meet again in Rotterdam. Luckily that will be very near to my home so I don't have to get up too early . Looking forward to the show already! By the way, I discovered that Noa likes to make herself known at show. It apears that she doesn't enjoy to go to show but the lazy cat sleeps in her cage all day and gets a little bit grumpy when she has to get out. Probably Wassenaar will be the last show we will enter because i don't want to torture her by entering shows while she doesn't find any pleasure in taking part in shows. Last week we met a judge who understood Noa very well. He just picked her up and out of the blue she just calmed down. Funny experience. Last year in Nijmegen the show didn't seem to bother her but she too has taken a disliking in shows. The last 2 shows she improved but I am also considering to stop showing her.

Many cats do not really like catshows..... Or beter said only a few like catshows........

It is a pitty because it is so nice to learn more about other cats at a show. But it is not worth the torture...

(P.S. Ask if you can sit with other Nebelung breeders at the show in Wassenaar. It is nice to meet and it is easy for the lunch we like to take with each other. Bernard and Laurence did already subscribe).

Noa doesn't seem to like shows (the first show she was absolutely fine) but she is improving a lot. She is fine when she is lying in hert bench but starts to make noise when she has to come out. I wanted to retire her from showing but now she is improving again and I start doubting again

It nice to see another photo of your girl. It is logical you were focused on your cat, not the photographer. But it is still a lovely photo and it is nice to see your face too.

I'm very curious how the show has been.
Noa on the pillar! You can see that she it at all didn't like.
