Sagging belly?
Today I discovered that Maroon got a hanging belly, a pouch like one. It's just soft skin.
I got alarmed and wanted to go the vet, but then I browsed the internet, where I could not really found the reason why it ever appears - just that it is a normal thing that some cats just have it
.
I have never seen it before in other cats. Do you have any experience with it?
I wish it could go away, but apparently it can't :S.
Luckily you can't see it on Maroon because of his long hair. But I know it's there. When I go over his stomach it's quite big. And I believe it would be quite ugly if he was short haired.
I believe cats with sagging bellies are disqualified immediately at shows, aren't they?
p.s His weight is 3.4kg. I think it's normal for a 9 month kitten.
