Arthur and Me - from Australia

hey everyone, I came across this form the other night and thought I would add in my little boy Not sure if he really is a Nebelung, but that is what the pound listed him as when I adopted him

He's my baby, and loves cuddles and pats. He's a little bit crazy and very playful - I wouldn't have him any other way. He is very much "my" cat - to the extent that he follows me around the house when I'm home he also runs and hides if anyone new comes around, so does have some very 'russian blue' / 'nebelung' character traits.

Nebelung or not - I adore him and he's a total cutie pie

PS. We are both all the way over in Queensland Australia - Don't think there really is anyone over here breading Nebelung's - I hope to find someone someday, or even one day maybe start my own Nebelung cattery! (I've loved looking at all the photos on here) I would love to get a play mate for Arthur one day but for the mean time I'm only able to have the one ( have to work on the other half to let me have another kitty hehe)

Arthur is indeed a cutie pie To my knowledge, there are no Nebelung breeders in OZ at present. I am impressed the pound you got him from even knew about the breed! There are still so few breeders across the world

thanks for the welcome Laurence I'm actually just outside of brisbane in a city called Ipswich. Well the pound I mentioned is actually the RSPCA and they are pretty up on breeds, but yeah don't really think Arthur is a 'true' Nebelung. I have been doing some online searching and can't find anyone over here who does bread Nebelungs. I've always had a soft spot for 'blue' cats and had planned to try and get a Russian blue from the RSPCA when I was looking, I've also always loved fluffy cats so the shortness of the Russian blues was a little bit of a downside for me.... so I'm totally over the moon with Arthur - being that he's the colour I love and fluffy (but not CRAZY fluffy). I'm totally smittened with the Nebelung bread and if I could I think I'd fill my house with them LOL and become a crazy cat lady ... but lucky for me (I guess) my partner is not a crazy cat person, and has put the limit to one cat only. One day I hope to sweet talk him into a least one more

Well I guess I better go - a certain cat has jumped up on the computer desk demanding attention
