Yes it's another do you think my cat is a Nebelung?!

I got Wisp from a rescue centre along with her best friend Shadow. They were in a sorry state but with alot of love, care and attention they are little beauties now. I must admit when I was choosing it was Shadow I had settled on got her in the carrier and this scruffy longhair with cobwebs in her whiskers and weird eyes jumped on top of it as if to say I'm coming too!

Wisp is a bright wee soul and is very much my cat, she can get quite possessive! Keeps her distance from strangers until they are sat down and she can inspect them (she will not allow them to touch her for a while though!). She is very good at making her feelings known even though her tiny meow sounds like a broken squeaky toy she has a very dense silky undercoat and longer fine guard hairs. Big bushy tail and pantaloons too! She has one trademark bright green eye and one yellow.

I don't mind if she's just a moggie she's part of my wee household and is such a big character for a wee lady

welcome to the Forum, you have wonderful Cat´s. I think your Cat is a household Pet, but she looks great and you love her. It´s the best you could do. You must be a happy person with your two Cats.

Wisp and Shadow were lucky to have found you. They both look so happy.

Well the vet confirms she is a Nebelung, and I will have to cope with all the problems that come with, fine fur so laxatives everyday, which has helped so much! I now have a happy cat with no hairball problems!

Congrats on your 2 rescues! I just picked up my rescue on May 1st a one year old claimed Nebelung mix and he looks extremely similar to your Wisp except for the mixed eyes... My cat, Loki is also very protective and growls but not over food, toys or playtime only when he does not like someone or another animal, the other night he jumped up from bed and rushed to the nightstand under the bedroom window growling and I had also noticed a small white solid by the window had to be a moth outside as my window is 25 feet up, he then sat there for 10-15 minutes on quite guard... that story and the fact that he has to join me every time I step into the shower, he could care less about getting wet, and is also trained for a harness and leash has brought me to join this website!

what a wonderful story. I have domestic long haired gray cat and they carry the same look on their face. I bet yours is half nebelung but I'm no expert. the Fur looks like my beloved Sukey but everything else looks like my gray cat. Good luck!

She is beautiful. I have always found the odd eye cats very sweet and charming <3.

Although, unless you have a pedigree of her no vet can confirm you that she is a Nebelung.

Nebelung is result of long and careful breeding and as such is only found with breeders and there are still only few of them . For example in the States there's only one Nebelung breeder.

I suggest you go to a catshow and talk to serious breeders (of any breed). I believe it will be an eye opener.
