Post  Nala on Tue Mar 09, 2010 1:36 pm

I was wondering if there are any Nebelung breeders in U.K?

Hi Nala,

I am not sure but I do not think so. The Nebelung is not recognized in UK. Sad

Wink The Nebelung is not recognised at this moment by the GCCF . But the TICA recognises the Nebelung and can be found in the UK. Wink
But I have to say.... I only know of one Nebelung in the UK*. But maybe others on the forum know more.
Please, keep looking on our forum.

*this Nebelung was imported from the Netherlands, Lima Sereb Haze.

Thank you for your replies. I remember about 5 years ago I got in touch with a lady that had a Nebelung in the U.K that was going to have kittens, but I lost her contact details.

Is Lima Sereb Haze the name of the breeder the person bought the Nebelung from in the Netherlands? Or is it the name of the person in the U.K that has the Nebelung?

Laughing Lima Sereb Haze is the name of the cat. Laughing
Teresa bought her of Kirsten (cattery Sereb Haze).
I have not heard of Teresa in a while. But maybe Kirsten has.

Oh silly me Embarassed I wonder if anyone on here would have Teresa's contact details?
Would it be expensive to bring one over from Europe to Scotland. I suppose they would have to be at least 6 months old on the pet passport scheme. Then you are missing out on a lot of the kittenhood stage as I am sure it would be possibly a 9 month old kitten I would have to get? I am not sure on how it all works Neutral
They are such beautiful cats I love you

Hi,

I do think this website is very informative about importing pets.
http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-pets/pets/travel/
(Have to admit I did not read it fully, because of lack of time...... Sorry)
