Russian blue var kittens

As you may have read we have moved to a new home at the end of last year
When Cairy and dusty (our dog) where used to the new situation,
and had found their place again we decided to bring Cairy to Ashwin in February.
We expect the end of this month Russian blue variant kittens
We keep you informed

Congratulations!!!! Good to hear you lovely lady is expecting kittens of this lovely lad!!

I hope she will have an easy labour, healthy kittens and........ lots of fun!!! (for you all)

Update::
Cairy & Ashwin zijn trotse ouders geworden van 4 prachtige kittens
Op 29 maart rond een uur of half 11 kwamen de eerste 2 op de wereld
en tussen 11 en half 12 de andere 2.
De bevalling ging erg goed en moeder met kittens maken het goed.
Hieronder een foto van de tevreden moeder met kids.

Cairy & Ashwin are proud parents of 4 beautiful kittens
On March 29 around half past 11, the first 2 came in the world
and between 11 and half 12 the other 2.
The delivery went very well and mother and kittens are well.
Below a picture of content mother whit kids.

Goed om te horen dat het goed gaat met de kleintjes. Ik had je mail gisteren gelezen en zat vol verwachting uit te kijken naar de foto's.....
Sneu voor je schoonmoeder dat ze zich gesneden heeft .....
Maar iets minder mooie foto's maken me ook blij!!!

Leuk dat jullie een ren gaan maken. Wat zijn jullie plannen? Wordt het de hele tuin, of een deel? Van welk materiaal??

Ik weet zeker dat je meiske blij met jullie zal zijn. Onze katten zouden niet zonder ren willen.


Good to hear all is going well with the kittens and their mother. I have read your mail yesterday and was full of expectation waiting for the pictures .....
Sad for your mother-in-law that she has cut herself.....
But slightly less pretty pictures make me happy also!

Great for your cats that you make a cat enclosure. What are your plans? Is it the whole garden, or part? What material? Love to see photos when it is finised.

I'm sure your girl will be happy with you. Our cats would not like to miss theirs.

Ik ga me best straks doen

Jaaa geweldig een ren!
Ik weet wel zeker dat ze er blij mee zullen zijn en anders wij wel.
Cairy kwam wel naar buiten al maar, dan met een tuigje.

De bedoeling is een 30m2 ren, de hele tuin is niet mogelijk
omdat we teveel zitten met obstakels zoals grote bomen.
Materiaal wordt waarschijnlijk gaas met houten panelen.

I'm sure they will be happy and we olso.
Cairy did come already outside but, with a Line.

The idea is a 30m2 run, the whole garden is not possible
because there are too many obstacles, such as large trees.
Material is likely: gauze with wooden panels.

Mind that your wood is not the type that needs to be painted...... A pesky job and for the cats less healthy. Atleast at my place they use mark the poles with their nails.

I'll check later for your new photos!!!

I understand the problem you have with your camera! I have the same..... so it is almost impossible to take pictures of the little ones.

Oranje makes me laugh: his position and his eyes wondering what on earth you are doing!!!
Groen looks like he is starring you down, trying to frighten you away

Terwijl ik je kittens bewonderde, vroeg ik me af waarom je voor oranje gekozen hebt. Voor mij, vanaf de foto's -met vrouw in gedachte- zijn zowel oranje als geel mijn favoriet (niets ten nadele van groen - zij is ook super). Kiezen for een fokkitten is een mix van looks en caracter..... wat maakt oranje extra speciaal voor jou?

While admiring all your kittens I was also wondering why you did choose for orange. For me, on the photos, orange and yellow are stunning (green is also very beautyful) . And choosing a kittens is a mixture of beauty and caracter.... What made orange extra special for you?

Hoi Anke,

De fotos zijn inmiddels wat groter.
Persoonlijk ging mijn voorkeur vanaf de geboorten al uit naar Oranje,
heel stom, dat valt niet te verklaren, dat was een gevoels kwestie.
Na maten ze ouder worden komt natuurlijk het karakter en het uiterlijk beter tot zijn recht
en kun je dat mooi gaan bestuderen, ze wist steeds mijn aandacht te trekken.
Het is een nieuwsgierige damen die absoluut niet bang is voor niemand en niets
ze roept je als ze je ziet en heeft voor mij gevoel ons ook uitgekozen in de plaats van andersom.
ook vindt ze het heerlijk om opgepakt te worden en je achterna te lopen.
Ook betreft uiterlijk vindt ik haar persoonlijk het mooist, b.v. haar ogen en ze is het lichts van het stel.

Geel is inderdaad ook een plaatje, en heeft zo haar eigen leuke karakter weer
ik ben ook blij dat ze samen met de kater naar een nieuw huisje gaat want deze meid
trekt erg naar haar soort genootjes toe.

Groen is weer erg zelfstandig en zo konden we die mooi plaatsen bij een gepensioneerd stel.

het is namelijk belangrijk om je ook in de kat in te leven en te bekijken waar en in welke sitiuatie ze het beste geplaatst kunnen worden.

The pictures are now bigger.
Personally I preferred from birth to Orange
very stupid, that can not be explained, that was an emotional feeling.
After they get older, the character and appearance better advantage
and then you can study them well, every time she pulled my attention.
It is a curious girl that is absolutely not afraid of nobody and nothing
she call you when she sees you and i have the feeling she pick us instead we pick here.
she also loves being picked up and to run after you.
Even in appearance I find her personally best, like: her eyes and she is the lightest of all.

Yellow is indeed a nice, and have here own diffrent character
I am also glad that she and the kater go to a new house together
she is always looking for company.

Green is very independent and so we could place him good by a nice retired couple.

It is important to look also to the cat character and see where there can be placed best.

Thanks for your answer. I was wondering how you made your difficult decision - all are lovely - but yes, some kittens just choose you. This is very well known at my house. It also makes any decision easy....
At the end of the day your breeding cats are just friend who one shares a live with.
(and a great caracter is hereditary and will reward in the next genertions )
